The Transport Security Administration (TSA) has been observed to have expanded its powers at airports to demand the right to test drinks passengers are consuming after they have passed security. The new security measures have not been specifically explained by the TSA nor is it clear what they are testing for.KJCT-8 News out of Grand Junction, Colorado made the initial report as passengers questioned the wisdom of letting passengers purchase expensive drinks after the gate and then ruining them with no refund.’The American people shouldn’t be subjected to harassment, groping and other public humiliation simply to board an airplane.’Previously, Ron Paul had launched a scathing attack on the TSA.’The police state in this country is growing out of control,’ said Paul.’One of the ultimate embodiments of this is the TSA that gropes and grabs our children, our seniors and our loved ones and neighbours with disabilities.’The TSA does all of this while doing nothing to keep us safe.’
