Bhuwan K.C. is a Nepali film actor, producer, and director. Starting his career as a singer for Radio Nepal[1] with hits such as “Jaage Saara Raat”, he went on to become a superstar of the Nepali film industry acting in more than a hundred films,including some foreign films.[citation needed] The 1983 film Juni was his first film, although it was not commercial success. Samjhana was his first hit, in 1984, and it helped to establish him as a successful actor in Nepali cinema. His other successful movies are Nepali Babu, Karodpati , Kusume Rumal, Saino, Dakshina, Kanyadan, and Chino. In 2016 he directed the film Dreams, with his son Anmol K.C. in the lead role.
