Visiting Deputy Chief of Party of Millennium Challenge Corporation compact (MCC compact) Fatema Sumar called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday. The Corporation is the development agency of United States of America to select foreign aid development projects.
In a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, Prime Minister Dahal thanked the MCC compact for its interest to invest in the areas of energy and infrastructure and also asked Sumar for ensuring maximum flow of investment in Nepal.
Noting that Nepal’s political stability and context for good governance are gradually improving, PM Dahal pledged to make all necessary arrangements including technology and security for the flow of foreign investment in Nepal.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief of Party Sumar expressed happiness over enabling environment being seen in Nepal for political stability and expressed hope that the constitution would be implemented addressing the aspirations of all sides.
