Nepal registered their first victory in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifying Series Asia Region defeating China by 20 runs . The victory is also Nepal’s first in seven years against China. Chasing 95 runs for victory, Nepal bundled out the Chinese side on 75 runs for eight at Kowloon Cricket Club. Sita Rana Magar claimed three wickets while Sabnam Rai had two to her name. During their second match of the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifying Series Asia Region at the Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok of Hong Kong, on Sunday Nepal women’s cricket team lost to Hong Kong by six wickets. Losing only four wickets, the hosts wrapped up the innings in 16.3 overs.
