All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to Minister for Education, Girirajmani Pokharel, demanding action against the office-bearers of the Private and Boarding Schools’ Organisation Nepal (PABSON), who sent a threatening letter to the Curriculum Development Centre. The memo demands action against the PABSON office-bearers who warned the CDC for not giving approval to the books recommended by PABSON to be used as course books. Similarly, it also demands return of the amount of the books that are already sold but in high price as well as action against the school operators, who have not followed the Institutional School Fee Determination Criteria. Spokesperson of the ANNISU (Revolutionary), close to (UCPN (Maoist), Surendra Basnet, said that they also handed over ‘PABSON science book’ of class 1-10, which was not in the list of CDC.On the occasion, Minister Pokharel said that action would be taken against the guilty within three days after carrying out necessary investigation on it. He also expressed commitment to bring anybody, who goes beyond the rule and law, under the ambit of law.
