Police on Monday arrested a foreigner participating in a sit-in organized by the Federal Alliance (FA), RSS reported.Briton Martin Pewar was arrested for participating in the protest, Chief District Officer (CDO) Ram Krishna Subedi said.Social media has been abuzz with photos of foreigners participating in the sit-ins organized by the FA prompting the authority to take action against such moves.Meanwhile, Home Ministry has decided to take action against the foreigners participating in the protest, RSS further reported. “It is against the immigration law to participate in the protest,” Home Ministry Spokesperson Yadav Koirala said.Koirala also said that the government might nullify the visa of the foreigners for participating in the protests, the RSS report added.
