Posted by Anup Baral August 30, 2016 : NADA Auto Show - the largest automobiles show in the country - is beginning in Kathmandu from Tuesday. Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara is scheduled to inaugurate the 11th edition of the auto show amid a ceremony. Organizers say that the six-day event aims at promoting the growth of domestic automotive industry. “From the very first edition, the auto show has played a crucial role to promote country's automobile sector. This year also, the auto show is bringing all stakeholders of the automotive industry under one roof where problems, prospects and challenges of the industry can be discussed,” Shambhu Dahal, coordinator of NADA Auto Show, said. According to organizers, the automobile trade fair offers an excellent platform for automobile dealers and automotive component dealers and suppliers to showcase their new products and technologies as well as establish new business contacts. The auto show will have 125 stalls and pavilions occupied by 73 locals and international brands, products and services. Sixteen brands of four-wheelers, 15 brands of two-wheelers and five brands of heavy commercial vehicles are being showcased at the auto show.
