Death toll in the Arghakhanchi jeep accident has reached 11 after one of the injured rescued from the incident site died at the Sandhikharka-based Arghakhanchi District Hospital, police said. Nine people had died on the spot, while five others are critically injured after the jeep that left the Arghakhanchi district headquarters Sandhikharka for Baandikot of neighbouring Pyuthan fell 700 metres down the road in Hansapur VDC.The Deurali Yatayat’s record, on the other hand, showed the jeep had left Sandhikharka with 14 people including the driver. Tulsi Gaire, an employee at the private transporter, said two people could have got on the vehicle later.
