A 4-year-old girl who traveled from Shanxi province to Beijing trying to find treatment for her hugely oversized stomach is too sick to complete her treatment. Hu Yunxing’s father Hu Tianpeng, said that she developed a fever numerous times during her treatment and on December 3 the hospital sent him a notice stating his daughter was on the point of death. He said his daughter’s body temperature began to go up after medics started drawing liquid from her abdomen. Hu Yunxing came to Second Artillery General Hospital and was diagnosed as suffering from Budd-Chiari Syndrome. Medics began to draw liquid from her belly so as to perform more tests on the health of her organs. Shen Li, with the charity Angel Mom said the organization had previously helped two other kids with Budd-Chiari Syndrome before taking part in Hu’s case and she added she believed Hu would be all right. Hu said the doctor informed him the fever may be as a result of too many visits.
