NAC airbus landed in emergency after smoke detected

The ‘Lumbini’ Airbus of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) made an emergency landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday.
The Kathmandu-bound aircraft from New Delhi was landed in emergency when smoke was detected on the plane.
The aircraft carrying 163 passengers including cre members was landed when smoke was spotted while flying at an altitude of 12,500 feet, shared NAC Spokesperson Ram Krishna Sharma.
He further informed the emergency landing was made by establishing contact with the Kathmandu tower after smoke started coming out of place while entering into the Nepali sky.
All passengers on board are said to be in safe condition. Necessary investigation on the incident is underway, Sharma informed.
