he construction of Hetauda-Kathmandu fast track that was obstructed due to the recent Madhesh unrest and subsequent fuel crisis in the country caused by the border blockade has been expedited.
The widening of the 90- km track is taking place on a full-swing, according to track construction project Chief Deepak KC. The project developers have a plan to complete the widening task within the current fiscal. Though the project developers earlier had the deadline for carrying out the fast track widening till mid January this year, it was left unmet as fuel crisis caused by the border blockade hampered the construction works.
